How's this Weather? - every person right now

Well classic Zahli, I told everyone I was trying this new dance class and then it got cancelled due to the instructor being unwell - so no update there! Another reason to encourage everyone to get into your wellness routines. Since starting back into my semi-regular recovery sessions, I've strengthened my immune system, helping me stay healthy throughout the last couple of months. There was a couple of times where I thought I was developing a cold, but getting in the sauna regularly has helped me shake it off, before becoming something worse.

We often get sick when we are stressed or really busy as we don't allow the time for our bodies to rest and recover from our day. Taking the time each day to properly rest actually improves our productivity and

lives in the long run. We reduce the chance of getting sick, reduce long-term stress and it helps us slow down (even when we don't want to or feel like we can). So if you are feeling rundown, make some time for yourself this week to rest without guilt, shame and stress. Easier said than done, right?

I'd like to welcome our newest member of our team, Bec! Bec has already been apart of the Recovery Lab Mornington crew as one of our most committed members. We have loved how much she has embraced the modalities at Recovery Lab, so we are so excited to have her as part of the team. She also runs her own personal training business, Phoenix Health, has a bachelor in Exercise Science and Nutrition as well as playing basketball weekly. Welcome Bec!

Finally, I'd love to get as many people signed up for our latest challenge - THE 30 DAY RESET! An awesome opportunity for people to commit to looking after their overall wellness and health. All you need to do is decide whether to aim for four days or four sessions per week and then add yourself to the Commitment Crew board in the studio. If you want to super stretch yourself we will also have an option to do a full 30 days! Recovery Lab HQ have created information for us to share and I will also be writing and sharing updates on my own experience too. Look out for more information coming out in the next coming weeks. The challenge starts on the 3rd of November.

See you in the Lab!
